The Energy Innovation Agency (EIA) and Kantar Advisory Partners (KAP) are thrilled to announce a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating the commercialisation of energy innovations in Greater Manchester (GM) and beyond. This collaboration promises to leverage the unique strengths of both organisations to support climate-focused start-ups and impact investors, bridging the energy innovation gap and fostering connections between the UK and the Middle East.
This partnership was formalised with a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), highlighting the following key objectives:
Cross-referencing innovators with end-users for Pilot Demonstration Projects: Ensuring practical applications and real-world testing of innovative solutions.
Developing joint funding bids and business support programmes: Enhancing financial and operational backing for emerging energy ventures.
Expanding the partnership with other key centres in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond: Creating a broader network of support and collaboration.
Undertaking joint marketing and communications activities: Amplifying the reach and impact of our initiatives through coordinated efforts.
Holding joint events in GM, London, and beyond: Providing platforms for knowledge exchange, networking, and showcasing innovations.
Co-authoring insights reports: Sharing valuable research and insights to guide the industry.
Developing joint strategic projects: Launching initiatives that drive significant advancements in energy innovation.
We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with KAP, which builds on our existing mission to accelerate carbon emission reductions in the Greater Manchester (GM) city-region and the commercialisation of innovative low-carbon energy solutions to bridge the innovation gap. Our exciting partnership will also support the wider scale deployment of energy innovations and ecosystems in GM, the UK, the Middle East and Worldwide, supporting businesses, organisations and communities in tackling climate change and in becoming more sustainable.
