The Energy Innovation Agency (The Agency) is set to partner up with Bolton at Home, a leading housing provider in the North-West region. This initiative will see The Agency bring its expertise to three residential apartment buildings consisting of a total of 198, one and two-bedroom flats, with a mission to improve their energy efficiency and sustainability.

A Vision for Sustainable Living

Bolton at Home has provided The Agency with a task: to elevate the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of these three buildings to at least a C rating. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to not only meet regulatory standards, but also to create a more sustainable and energy-efficient living environment for residents.

Innovative Solutions for Modern Challenges

To achieve these goals, The Agency have explored, presented and are set to deploy a range of green technologies. The focus areas for these innovations include:

  • Heating - such as hot water cylinders, glazing, and insulation.

  • Energy Management Systems - such as one stop shops for energy usage/performance.

Collaboration for a Common Goal

This collaboration between The Agency and Bolton at Home demonstrates the power of partnerships in driving forward the agenda for sustainable living. By combining our expertise and their resource, both companies are poised to make a substantial impact on the energy efficiency of these residential buildings, setting a benchmark for future projects.

This project will serve as a model for how innovative energy solutions can be seamlessly integrated into residential buildings, enhancing the quality of life for residents while contributing to a more sustainable future.
