Two Agency clients have been selected as competition winners by Elevate GM to receive a complimentary exhibition showcase at the forthcoming Northern Sustainability Summit.
Corksol is a Halifax-based supplier of sustainable, cork-based products to the UK build sector. The company has developed SprayCork, a revolutionary cork sprayed coating for new build and renovation projects.
This natural and sustainable innovative solution can transform internal and external walls with a high-quality finish and its improved thermal performance can reduce fuel usage across residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
The Agency has connected Corksol with Greater Manchester’s key retrofit challenges, including improving the thermal comfort and health of both social housing and heritage buildings.
CAGE Technologies is a manufacturer of Clean Air Gas Engines based in Lancaster. They have developed a range of world leading engine systems for industrial and agricultural machines that use sustainable and net zero emission fuels. The CAGE products use any gas fuels including biogas and hydrogen.
The Agency has helped CAGE Technologies to explore opportunities to deploy their solutions to provide clean power for farmers and low emission alternatives to off-grid diesel generators and back-up power systems.
The competition winners were chosen because they have a new approach or product, are active in the North, show potential for growth, have a genuine commitment to sustainability and would benefit from showcasing their business to the event audience. They will each have a stand in a dedicated section of the exhibition hall, alongside the other 8 winners also selected.
The Northern Sustainability Summit is to be held on Monday 8th July at Manchester Central. The event will feature around 50 exhibitors, over 20 presentations & workshops and is expected to attract over 600 visitors.
The overarching focus for the 2024 event is on making sustainability work for businesses with four key guiding themes: finance, innovation, consumer behaviour and infrastructure.
